"When your feet hurt, you hurt all over. We hear that a lot," states Dr. Michelle McCrumb of Heel and Sole Podiatry. Dr. McCrumb has been practicing podiatry on Martha’s Vineyard for over 25 years. She recently completed course work through Harvard Medical School on diabetic foot management and new technology in vascular medicine. Dr. McCrumb completed her surgical training with Harvard Teaching Hospitals in 1984, and has been in private practice since that time.

She is Board Certified in Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine. Her practice includes medical, surgical, and bio-mechanical treatment for all foot and walking complaints. "Our patients range from one to one hundred, and we treat all types of foot problems, everything from heel pain to infections to broken bones, and everything in between. We also focus on education and prevention of injuries, especially in diabetics," she added.
